PIXAR presentation File

I created a file on the server under our group entitled, "PIXAR_presentation_file". I believe Alex wanted them all on there by 6:00pm.

Alex,

If any issues occur with the files that are uploaded to the server, just email the person so that we have all the files good to go on the server by midnight.

hand scale changes

i noticed that ivory's hands are way to big for our character. so what i did was i went the the morph mode and clicked on the hand picker. on both hands i scaled them to .8. her hands look more proportional now.

Hey, guys. Here is my blocking as of 3:00pm, 2/22/2012.

Just need to see where Brandon's shot ends and Nicks begins.

The well will be posted on the server. im adding trees into the scene right now. megan is going to add textures later and then she will be done. we still need to add a background image plane.

Some rough blocking, For my first pose I have her coming out of the well and for the last pose she is looking back in. Right now it looks like it syncs up closely with Alex's shot.

here is my progress. how is everyone else doing? Nick i was wondering what your last pose was so that my pose would sync up.

SLight changes in the set

I ai had to lower the well. translate y is -270. my character was not tall enough to bend over the well so i moved the well down.we also have to make sure that our character is in general spot. i would suggest that you create a sphere and have it set to Translate X = 60 , Translate Y = 0, and Translate Z = -175. this way the character is in a consistent area for the shots.

Sound bits on the server

The program Audacity could not pick up on the changing music in the background of the audio clip without messing up the words the women says.

I limited the music in the background so that it will blend with the final music we use. The files are on the server.

I managed to find a few tree models, including what looks like a pretty good package of eight or so trees. Here are some pictures below.









However, I was not able to find any good bushes and shrubs.

give me some feedback if things are unclear or if there should be some changes in the timing.

Character Outline

Character:

Ivory Franklin, 48

- Manipulative- Crazy- Open mouth grins- Kubrick Stare- Wide-open eyes- Head tilts/ head shakes- Pinched brow with wide smile- Slightly crazy from months of isolation in her room- Vengeful- Need to blame others for failed marriage

Back Story:

After years of a loveless marriage In Newark, NJ, wealthy lawyer, William Franklin began to sleep with and eventually left his wife for a woman that worked in his law office. After 20 years of marriage, Ivory was devastated by this sudden and unwanted news. Over the last two decades, repressed resentment led to bickering, and she knew they no longer felt the same about each other. Since the beginning of their marriage, she was ashamed that she couldn’t have children and felt that William resented her for not being able to give him the family he always wanted. Not caring for his marriage, and at a later age in his life, he has gone off to find happiness elsewhere, and the receptionist at his office did just fine. After months of frustration and contemplation alone in her home, Ivory started on a mission for revenge. She got into Williams old email accounts and after hours of searching found information that could lead to his new lovers residence. With a homemade kidnapping kit she left her home in search of the other women. After a shorter than thought drive she arrived at the mistresses town house. Ivory was able to break a bathroom window and slip in unnoticed. Knowing that her husband was constantly busy at the office she imagined he stayed late tonight like the many times before. Once she approached the sleeping women alone in her bed she disabled her with one swing of a hammer. Ivory then bagged and dragged her into the trunk of her car. She knew right where to put the women so that she would be out of her husbands’ life and he would come back to his true home with Ivory. She drove to the isolated and mysterious Pine Barrens in southern New Jersey. The deranged women drove her car onto a small dirt path deep into the forest until the branches from the trees where to thick to see through. With the first rays of sunlight she stopped the car and just ahead saw a small cobblestone well in the clearing. She then dragged her husband’s mistress out of the car and with a rope lowered her into the well. She didn’t have the heart to kill the women, so she figured she would keep her down in the well until her husband realized his wrongs and wanted to come back to his loving wife.

We have megan auer modeling our set for us. We have to give her our basic set layout that adam made earlier so that she can build on top of that.

Just so we are all on the same page:

For the scene we will have one scene we all copy and use and reference the character into. for the scene there is a well, quality looking trees nearby and then in the back ground images from the link above for filler.
