NEW PROJECT IDEA
Hey guys I had an idea for the next project. The idea is that the couple that is fighting are actually bank robbers or some sort of thief's. Maybe the two get caught or something and then they just start fighting about their relationship at the worst time, thought it could be funny. Since we trimmed the dialogue a little bit I think changing the setting to something like this might make the over all scene more comedic. If you guys have any ideas that could make this stronger that would be great. I do think the faster we get this planning complete and start blocking the better off we will be.

I like the idea of the characters getting in this argument while doing something completely opposite from the conversation. I like the bank robber idea, but I'm not sure how we would make them look like thieves.

i like the idea too. i was thinking for the face we could just paint it like the mr incredible mask and for the clothing have a 80% black shirt and pants. i think it would a be a good opportunity to have good silhouettes.

maybe the gary is a thief and the brook is just tagging along or was forced to join him. she thinks that what he is doing is wrong. thus causing here to begin the dialogue.
I'm just worried that painting on the characters faces will take away from the facial animation and that is what the assignment is for.
ReplyDeleteIf we went with the thief idea we could have them in a bank safe surrounded by stacks of money or just outside the safe and the lock is between the two of them.
He could be trying to pop the look while she is complaining about the flowers and such. (i like this one)
Im trying to think how to really get the story to stick with the lines of the clip. I had an idea that maybe the girl was the one breaking the lock or safe and maybe he brought her like a hammer or some tool to help with the safe but she just gets upset because she really wanted flowers.
