Changing Camera Safe Area to Black?

I have been looking on the internet but have not found a way that works. I couldn't remember who in our group was able to change it to black, but can you please post how to on here so we can have all our cameras having black for the camera safe tomorrw. Thanks

Camera angle

These are two ideas for my shot with the girl. Let me now what you guys think. One is more straight on and the other is a 3/4 view. I tend to like the 3/4 view. This is the opening of the shot where she is going to take the baton from the cop.

When I imported the characters the heads where out of frame so I tweaked the camera a bit. This would only effect the shot on the cop. I'm not sure who is doing the other shot of the cop (need to know to have the same attitude of character). Here's what the different angle would look like. Let me know if it works for you guys.

have these kind of weight shift when she is being posed but dont make it too extreme. here is your camera view. you and brandon will have the view camera.

Morpheus clothing

These are the instructions I got from Terry: You can just wrap it around morpheus. To do that you: 1. open morpheus 2. import the clothes file 3. turn on mesh selectability for morpheus 4. select the clothing first then the body 5. go to animation > create deformers > wrap options 6. make sure render influence is checked and then apply the wrap Then it should follow morpheus. You might have to do that for all of the uniform pieces. Let me know if it works. -- My computer keeps freaking out when I try it. Would one of you guys be willing to try it out? If it works let me know and i'll message back Terry

Update for project 2

Hey guys, hope your easter is going well.

I emailed Terry about the cop clothes on morphy and hopefully he will get back to the email soon.

I was wanted to see if the boards are almost ready. We have the set and we can use rigs named to what we want to reference in the new rig after. But blocking is due Tuesday and I want to get on it as soon as possible.

Hey guys think I found something that might be useful to us for this upcoming project..... I found this off a school blog whose project was to make clothes for the morphy rig. Im not sure how to attach the clothes to the rig itself yet, I have an email out to the professor of the class and I hope to hear back from him soon. It was a whole pack that came with all sorts of different outfits. Ill bring what I got for Thursday. Anyways what are your thoughts?

Story Outline

Story - Jail Scene

Famous actress Clarissa Jones has been sentenced to three months in jail for drug possession and violating parole. She is one of the most desirable famous actresses in the world and the guard ordered to keep a close eye on her cell and to make sure no other inmates attack or harass her is, Topher Carson. Topher has been a prison guard now for six months. He is hoping to soon begin law school and is very driven in everything he does. Because he is leaving his job soon he is taking advantage of the situation that Clarissa is in. Topher is hoping to get her to have feelings for him so that when she is released he could have a shot to be with her outside of the jail. In this scene Topher is visiting her cell after lights out and is asking her questions about her recent day in court.

Clarissa Jones -

She is very sure of herself and has very high self-esteem. She has been successful in her career and is an extremely intelligent woman. She enjoys teasing men that she feels are not worthy of her time and often blows off dates that men make with her. She uses her looks and fame to get whatever she wants, but now she is imprisoned she has little to no control over how she lives her life. She is an attention hog and since there are very few people to associate with while in jail she carries casual conversation with whoever will come by her cell and talk to her.

Topher Carson –

Topher is an only child and was raised with the idea that he can get anything he wants, because growing up he was given anything he wanted and never had to share. As an adult he has fallen short of his goals, but now he has become more determined to attain what he desires. Some would say his only weakness is women. Since being assigned for extra security around famous movie star Clarissa Jones jail cell he has become infatuated with her. He is very sure of himself, confidence is not an issue and he is sure he can get Clarissa to be is girlfriend is he tries hard enough.

Some Ideas for the clip

Came up with some more ideas for the clip. Its got a feel like a cat and mouse situation so I think it will be pretty easy to come up with ideas for the clooney clip.

1st Idea was having the girl be a prisoner in a jail cell of some kind with the guy being a guard and hes trying to pick her up, it could mesh pretty well with the dialogue, also the set wouldn't be that bad.

2nd Idea was having the two play chess, maybe we could even make them older characters to give the sense they have a history together. The set might be a little more in terms of location and other assets but im sure we could make it work.

3rd Idea had the two characters driving a car. So for this shot you would most likely just see from the waist up. The guy would be driving and the girl as a passenger which would tie into the the first line of the girl well. I think the cuts between all of our shots could be cool with this one.

I also uploaded the whole clip from this scene...There is some pretty good stuff in there, check it out, the part from like 40 seconds to like 55 are pretty funny. anyways any input would be great.

lighting for evil woman

so i had to delete the sphere because it was preventing the directional light from casting shadows. so just delete the sphere.

I find myself favoring this clip. I think it has a lot of energy that would provide a good framework to animate from. Does anyone have any opinions?
