Robbery Pitch

Scene:

Two career criminals are braking into the office of a corrupt insurance agent. His angry secretary has tipped off the couple. She told them that he is making a lot of money on the side by ripping his clients off. He is keeping the money and not reporting it to the bank. From past experiences the criminals have a hunch that the agent is keeping the money either at his house or in his office. The two thieves have chosen to break into his office late at night, and with the help of the secretary there is minimal threat. She has left the alarm off and has made sure that her boss will not be making any random late night visits to the office. Once in the office area the thieves go to work. They are trying to keep their minds on the job, but they have been fighting all day about their love life. The couple finds the safe where the money is possibly being kept, but there is a keypad that they don’t know the code too. While Sarah tries to pick the lock John searches on the insurance agents lap top for clues to open the lock. When Sarah becomes frustrated with the lock she once again brings up their relationship issues.

John Miller -

John is a little slower physically and mentally compared to Sarah. He is good with computers, but his everyday mind thought isn’t always there. He is a strong thinker but doesn’t connect well with people and especially women. He means well but often a time is a little dopy. He is large, but he moves quickly and is very smooth with his motions. He becomes very concentrated on individual tasks and loses himself in them. He is in his mid thirties and slightly over weight. He has been robbing places for five years.

Sarah Johnson –

Sara is slightly crazy and very needy in relationships. She is in her early thirties. She becomes very frustrated when dealing with her boyfriend John. She is a stickler for detail and needs to be in control. She is the one that orchestrates the robberies and thinks of herself as the brains of the operation. She is swift and light on her feet. Her movements are precise and she is slightly over confident about robberies because she has never been caught over the last ten years.
